Our Story
All great ideas begin with a question. Our question was: “How can we redefine one of Australia's greatest comfort foods?”
Since 2017, we've been serving up great food under a variety of names, continually evolving and growing along the way. In the middle of 2025 we officially became Spud Co, our current name. One thing has always remained the same: We believe that good food and the humble potato should be celebrated. From its humble beginnings, it has become a place where fresh ingredients, inventive flavours, and endless customisation converge to create meals that delight the palate.
We brought a classic favorite to Spud Co and made it contemporary! The loaded jacket potato was the basis for our menu, which was based on choice. From premium proteins to colourful salads, tasty toppings and homemade flavors, all meals are designed to please without sacrificing quality.
Though Spud Co has always been more than potatoes, however. It's about connecting people around familiar, yet exciting food. It's all about allowing consumers to create meals to their preferred tastes, lifestyle, and appetite. First and foremost, it's about providing a repeatable experience that draws people back for more.
We still prepare fresh meals that are satisfying today, just as we did when the idea first started. There's always a tasty choice waiting for you, whether you're in the mood for a loaded potato, a fresh bowl, or something completely custom-made.
